About Seoul Station
Luggage Storage at Korea's Busiest Railway Hub
Seoul Station is the most important transit hub in South Korea, handling an estimated 250,000–300,000 passengers daily across its subway, KTX, and airport rail connections. It is served by Seoul Metro Lines 1 and 4, the Gyeongui-Jungang Line (KORAIL), and the Airport Railroad Express (AREX) — which provides a direct link to Incheon International Airport in just 43 minutes.
As the terminus for KTX high-speed rail to Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and beyond, Seoul Station is a natural staging point for day trips or onward travel. Coin lockers are distributed across multiple locations throughout the station — mostly outside the subway fare gates, along transit corridors and near the KTX concourse, making them accessible regardless of which line you're using.
The station also hosts a City Airport Terminal, where passengers on the AREX direct service can complete airline check-in and baggage drop at Seoul Station itself — a genuinely useful option if you want to hand off luggage before heading into the city. Steps away, the Old Seoul Station building (built 1925, a designated cultural landmark) stands as a reminder of the city's railway history. Nearby highlights include Namdaemun Market (5 min walk), Seoullo 7017 sky garden (adjacent), and Myeong-dong shopping street (10 min walk).
The green markers on our map indicate lockers inside the fare gates; blue markers are outside and freely accessible. Exit 1 has the highest concentration of lockers — closest to the KTX concourse, Lotte Outlets, and the bus transfer center. For the fastest route to AREX with heavy bags, Exit 15 is the most direct.
