Finding a locker at Tokyo
- Large stations have lockers at several exits. If one bank is full, check the locker map posted nearby for the next one.
- Ask station staff: “Sumimasen, koin rokkā wa doko desu ka?” — “Excuse me, where are the coin lockers?”
- Many hotels will hold bags before check-in and after check-out. Ask at the front desk.
- At some major JR East stations in Tokyo, Suica coin locker search screens show which locker areas still have space.
- The JR East app’s station information tab can show availability for some lockers.
