How to Use Tokyo Station Lockers
-
Marunouchi vs Yaesu — The Marunouchi side faces the Imperial Palace and is popular with tourists — lockers fill up faster here. The Yaesu side connects to the bus terminal and has more locker capacity.
-
Shinkansen passengers — If you're catching a Shinkansen, store bags on the Shinkansen concourse side for easiest access. These lockers are inside the Shinkansen gates.
-
Most lockers accept Suica, PASMO, credit cards, and QR payment (PayPay, etc.).
-
Lockers are available during station operating hours (approx. 05:00–01:00). Overnight storage incurs an additional daily fee.
-
If lockers are full, nearby Bounce partner storage offers flexible same-day options just outside the station — particularly useful before or after Shinkansen travel.
