About Jamsil Station

Luggage Storage Near Lotte World and Seoul's Concert Hub

Jamsil Station (잠실역) serves over 160,000 passengers daily across Metro Line 2 and Line 8, ranking among Seoul's top three busiest stations. It is the undisputed gateway to one of Korea's most concentrated leisure destinations: Lotte World Adventure (the world's largest indoor theme park), Lotte World Tower (Korea's tallest building and home to the Seoul Sky observation deck), Lotte World Mall, and Seokchon Lake.

The locker demand at Jamsil is driven by a distinctive mix of visitors. Families visiting Lotte World need to store strollers, large bags, and luggage before entering the theme park — navigating the rides and indoor spaces with large items is simply not viable. Meanwhile, K-pop fans travelling from other cities or countries often arrive with suitcases and leave them at Jamsil while attending concerts at nearby Jamsil Sports Complex or KSPO Dome (Olympic Park, one stop via Line 8).

Hotel guests at Signiel Seoul or Lotte Hotel World — both directly connected to the station — frequently use station lockers during the gap between check-out (noon) and their departure. The underground network connecting the station exits, the mall, and the hotel complex is impressively large, which also means it is easy to lose track of where you left your locker. Always photograph the locker number and the nearest shop landmark before walking away.

Note that Jamsil Station has no direct Airport Railroad Express (AREX) connection. For Incheon Airport, the airport limousine bus is the standard choice — route 6705 from Lotte Hotel World (Exit 3) or route 6006 from the Jamsil Station stop near Exit 5 and 6.

The white T-Locker zones (TL216A, TL216B) near Exit 1·2 and the T-luggage zone (TL216E) are not yet included in the public API. If the widget shows lockers are full, additional capacity may still be available on-site.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do coin lockers cost at Jamsil Station?
Coin locker prices at Jamsil Station are charged per 4-hour block. Weekday rates: ₩2,200 (S) / ₩3,300 (M) / ₩4,400 (L). Weekend rates: ₩3,100 (S) / ₩4,600 (M) / ₩6,100 (L). Additional 4-hour blocks are billed at the same rate. Payment via T-money, credit card, or T-Locker 또타라커 app.
How do I get to Incheon Airport from Jamsil Station?
Jamsil Station does not have a direct Airport Railroad Express (AREX) connection. The most convenient option is the airport limousine bus: route 6705 departs from in front of Lotte Hotel World (Exit 3), and route 6006 departs from the Jamsil Station stop (near Exit 5 and 6). Journey time to Incheon Airport Terminal 1 is approximately 60–80 minutes depending on traffic.
What sizes are available at Jamsil Station coin lockers?
Jamsil Station offers S (small bag or shopping bag), M (cabin luggage or large backpack), and L (large suitcase) lockers. Real-time availability for each size is shown on our live widget above, updated from the Seoul Metropolitan Subway public API. On weekend mornings, large (L) lockers fill up fast — check availability here before heading out.
What if all coin lockers at Jamsil are full?
If lockers are full — which happens frequently on weekends and K-pop concert days — Bounce offers flexible same-day partner storage near Jamsil Station with no size limit. Klook's luggage delivery service can also transport bags door-to-door between your hotel and Incheon Airport.
Can I store luggage before entering Lotte World Adventure?
Yes, and it is strongly recommended. Lotte World Adventure and the adjacent mall are directly connected to Jamsil Station underground via exits 3 and 4. Store your luggage at the station coin locker before entering — navigating the theme park or shopping mall with a suitcase or large bags is very difficult, especially on crowded weekends. Note the locker number and take a photo of surrounding shops to find it again in the large underground complex.
Can I bring a bag into Jamsil Sports Complex or KSPO Dome?
Large bags and suitcases are generally restricted at concerts held at Jamsil Sports Complex venues — including the main stadium, indoor gym, and the nearby KSPO Dome (Olympic Park). Exact policies vary by event and are set by each promoter; always check the official notice for your specific concert.

As a general rule, rolling suitcases, large backpacks, and oversized bags are not permitted inside. Both Jamsil Station and Sports Complex Station (one stop away on Line 2) have coin lockers — real-time availability for both is shown in the widgets at the top of this page. On concert days, large (L) lockers at both stations fill up early.
What are the operating hours of Jamsil Station coin lockers?
All locker zones at Jamsil Station operate from 05:00 to 24:00 daily. This covers the yellow T-money lockers (TL216C, TL216D, TL216F), white T-Locker zones (TL216A: No.1–47, TL216B: No.48–73), and the T-luggage zone (TL216E: No.96–108). Lockers are not accessible outside these hours — plan your retrieval accordingly, especially after late-night concerts or events.
What payment methods are accepted at Jamsil Station coin lockers?
Jamsil Station coin lockers accept: T-money card, credit/debit card, T-Locker app (또타라커), Alipay, and WeChat Pay. Cash is not accepted directly at the terminal. T-money is the most convenient — the same card you use for the subway works at the locker.
