About Olympic Park Station

Seoul's K-pop Concert Hub — and More

Olympic Park Station (올림픽공원역) serves Line 5 and Line 9 in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Built for the 1988 Seoul Olympics, the park surrounding it has become one of Korea's most important live entertainment venues — and one of the most visited green spaces in the city.

KSPO Dome (체조경기장) inside the park is the de facto home of large-scale K-pop concerts in Seoul, hosting virtually every major idol group's domestic tour stop. On concert days the station handles passenger volumes that dwarf its usual flow — coin lockers fill within the first hour of the venue gates opening.

Beyond concerts, the park contains the Soma Museum of Art (소마미술관), outdoor sculpture gardens, the Mongchon Earthen Wall (몽촌토성, a historic fortification), and the Wildflower Garden (들꽃마루) — all free to enter. It is genuinely worth arriving early, storing your bags, and walking the park before the concert crowd arrives.

A note on Mongchontoseong Station: The park is also served by Mongchontoseong Station (몽촌토성역) on Line 8 — a separate station approximately 15 minutes on foot from Olympic Park Station. If your event is at SK Handball Stadium or the western side of the park, Mongchontoseong is the better choice. Both stations have coin lockers; this page shows live availability for both.
